Navigating Your Way through the World of Curiosity.

By http://www.atborgeas.com "mailto" ted@atborgeas.com

New Curious Frontiers…

The world of Curiosity has a variety of interpretations and meanings to a multitude of people, institutions and organizations. In Silicon valley it relates to techno-innovators, to the arts a possible new version or an array of color symbols, in business new concepts of customer relations services, in finance streamlined revenue producers and for the average person better ways of managing and resolving life’s daily conflicts.

Who am I?

The Raging Storm!

Each day it appears we launch into a new episode of our lives, which at times appears to be a raging storm. Of course, no different than for all of us, we would hope that conditions would at times, be a lot less perplexing.

But in spite of all our efforts sometimes circumstances cannot be controlled even with our best abilities. It is at this time that many of us exhibit qualities of heroism and daring, which may even startle ourselves!

It is these moments that have precipitated the formulation of this book. We looked at situations that have shown convincing evidence, especially in time of grief, loss, suffering and pain of the remarkable creativity, flexibility and resilience of our human attributes. People’s responses manifested themselves as no less than heroic and daring acts

We looked at tragedies and situations such as cancer, loss of loved ones, chronic disabilities, financial disasters and the host of other grief producing emotions. The change in circumstances, which can be acute, chronic or insidious, is abundantly clear to every person affected. None of us is immune to tragic circumstances. How we respond is exhibited in our actions, emotions relationships and even our spirituality.

From the inception to completion of this book the author was experiencing many of these dramatic situations and changes in life. Also he had the privilege of relating to many other people in the same circumstances. In spite of the doctors, experts, professionals and counseling, self-responsibility was one of the critical elements to maintaining sanity and normalcy.

For example, when you are told "you have cancer" or your "loved one is dead," from our surveys and actual experiences, people responded in dramatically different ways. Some people initially shouted in agony, others in a numbing desperation, disbelief, some in passive acceptance, doubting, stoical and a host of other emotional responses. The underlying question is what are the future circumstances and implications regarding the lives of these effected individuals and families?

We can submit a number of predictable disruptive behavioral responses. But since we, as humans, can be unpredictable regardless of what our reversals, the rebounding of some of us at the time of grief and loss to human tragedy may be totally inconsistent even in times of heroic expectations.

The most difficult yet the most necessary thing any person has to do in time of grieving, suffering and pain is to alter their perception whether it is quickly, incremental or consistent over a period of time. Some of the most effective creative and innovative mind altering methods of perception are that of attitude alteration, laughter, smiling, dancing and the application of meditation. All of these have proven effective; still the need for Heroic and Daring acceptance on the part of the individual is the critical element for success. Self-Evaluation.

The media with all its presumably good intentions, as part of their job in reporting, influencing, altering and times even penetrating our minds and attitudes must be viewed in perspective. It is our choice to control what we listen to, read and observe from the media. Any person who draws the wrong perception as to the cause of their grief, agony and suffering, can respond in detrimental manner, especially as it may be presented by the influences of some of the media. The choice is yours!

Stunning transformations of People's response to tragedy have exhibited true heroic and daring results. It appears there may not be a logical explanation for some of these transformations regardless of the illness, tragedy or situations. When success in heroic and daring proportions is evident in overcoming our human frailties in response to tragedy, it appears faith is one of major elements. In overcoming the fear of lesser than good expectations, faith is still the key to positive expectations.

In all of the above activities being “Passionately Curious”™ in the final analysis still involves relationships. Relationships not only with live people, but concepts, systems and data. Notice the word relationships used to infer those interactions between people to people. Today the significance involves the interrelationships of multiple criteria such as cyberspace, card and security technologies, wireless transmissions, intellectual properties and a host of other esoteric forms of communication systems. www.atborgeas.com

As we dash towards the finish line, which never exists, in our journey of continuous creativity and curiosity are we forgetting the role of living relationships? With the explosion of new technologies and their inter-relationship to each other is it giving us the impression of an illusionary interaction with phantoms? We dwell on aiding customers and employees interacting in a massive global network with cyber-people, digital data and possible Internet apparitions. All of this incredible advancement is contributing to our global desensitization and robotization.

As we continue with our accelerated progressive impersonal world of biometrics, facial identity, wireless and satellite communications, smart cards and the multitude of yet undiscovered entities. Further decreasing our person-to-person contact. But even these seemingly negative aspects of our passion for curiosity and creativity offer tremendous innovative opportunities to counter the impersonal effects. Just think it has already spawned a whole new profession in the security field of unhackers, of the hackers! Think of the new wireless methods of tracking not only customer/clients but also every phase of your business, family and even your thoughts?

Look at the positive aspects of the dynamics of this type of curiosity and creativity, which nobody seems to know how it’s diversity will apply to the numerous personal and business situations in the future. Scary, exciting and confusing, you bet, but inevitable.

Hopefully my communications will help direct, clarify, enlighten and stimulate your own innovation in our new exciting world of digital technologies, cyber-security and our adventures into the unknown!

Some people initially shouted in agony, others in a numbing desperation, disbelief, some in passive acceptance, doubting, stoical and a host of other emotional responses. Some even maintained their happiness of mind attitude.

The underlying concern for all is what are the future circumstances and implications regarding the lives of effected individuals and families?

We can submit a number of predictable disruptive behavioral responses. But since we humans, we are also unpredictable. Regardless of what our reversals, the rebounding of some of us at the time of grief and loss to human tragedy may be totally inconsistent. Why can some people still maintain their consistent happy attitude?

The most difficult yet the most necessary element any person has to do in time of grieving, suffering and pain is to alter their perception of their attitude of mind. It may be quickly, incremental or consistent over a period of time.

Some of the most effective creative and innovative mind altering methods of perception are that of attitude alteration, laughter, smiling, dancing and the application of meditation. As we dash towards the finish line, which never exists, in our journey of continuous creativity and curiosity are we forgetting the role of living relationships? With the explosion of new technologies it purports to give us, what I consider, the false impression of human interaction.

We dwell on aiding customers and employees, interacting in a massive global network with cyber-people, digital data and possible Internet apparitions and of an illusionary interaction with phantoms? All of this incredible advancement appears to be contributing to our global desensitization and robotization. Yet happy people seem to still remain happy, regardless of circumstances. Why?

Hopefully in the future our innovation will be directed to better understanding of our needs for daring personal human interactions, of touch and conscious awareness. Especially in times of grief and turmoil in our lives Precipitating our greater awareness of happiness and our attitude of gratitude.
